“DAMNED IF I KNOW BADGE”, FIRE Badge

Using the words of the collector I got it from, “DAMNED IF I KNOW BADGE”. Brass badge, with crossed Fire Axes and Fire Helmet. 51.25mm wide by 39.49mm high, with three folding tang fasteners (Which I will not open as they usually break off so donot know if maker named or not). 1/2 of the helmet plate that can be seen appears to be 4 long curved up feathers. I think maybe French but not sure. Nice. Control #WS13509
